As a GNC Engineering Intern, you will support the development of guidance, navigation, and control systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. This role focuses heavily on controls development, algorithm implementation, and testing.
Summer: Around 10 weeks (May - August)
Fall: Around 16 weeks (September - December)
Responsibilities:
Support the design, implementation, and testing of guidance and control algorithms for uncrewed high-speed aircraftAssist in developing and tuning control laws for flight vehicle stability and performanceImplement and validate control algorithms in simulation and test environmentsSupport analysis of test data and help refine control system performanceMinimum Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Strong background in controls, dynamics, and feedback systemsExperience with control system modeling and simulationFamiliarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or similar tools used for controls developmentStrong understanding of engineering first principlesDemonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGPA of 3.0 or aboveU.S. EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUS
