Summary
2K is a global video game company publishing titles developed by studios across multiple platforms and genres. The Engineering Graduate Program launches early-career engineers into game development through foundation training and studio rotations, where they will build and support game features, write C++ and Unreal Engine code, and troubleshoot and optimize systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to build and support game features across our titles
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, primarily in C++ & in the Unreal Engine
- Participate in instructor-led group projects, technical workshops, and guided reviews
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems across diverse engineering platforms and game engines
- Adapt quickly to varied studio workflows, version control tools (e.g., Perforce), and game release timelines
Skills
- Graduated between January 2025 and July 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python
- Experience with the use of Unreal Engine, which will be evaluated during the assessment process
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, curious learner with a genuine passion for gaming and technology
