The Release / Environment Management role manages configuration and change control, oversees release processes and outage scheduling, and supports deployment planning, rollback strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Manages configuration and change control in accordance with the established configuration management plan
- Oversees scheduled release windows, the outage calendar, and the emergency release process
- Performs ITIL-based release and configuration management using Subversion, GitLab, Fisheye, and formal CCB procedures
- Supports deployment planning, rollback strategies, and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or OCI DevOps
- Coordinates vendor‑controlled quarterly updates alongside program‑managed release windows
