Job description

Summary

Addepar is a global data and AI platform that helps investment professionals turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. The Technical Success Engineer designs and implements scalable solutions, advises clients on the Addepar platform, manages stakeholder communication, collaborates cross-functionally, and improves processes through automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical and industry expertise to design and implement scalable, best-practice solutions within existing Addepar environments—delivering with speed, precision, and an unwavering commitment to quality
  • Deliver high-impact outcomes aligned to client goals, ensuring measurable value and satisfaction at every engagement milestone
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert across all aspects of the Addepar platform, bringing a consultative approach that clients rely on for their most complex challenges
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical risks before they escalate, demonstrating the urgency and ownership mindset that defines the team
  • Drive proactive, transparent communication with stakeholders across internal and external teams—setting expectations clearly and following through relentlessly
  • Communicate project health, risks, and milestones to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence, escalating decisively when required
  • Foster strong client relationships grounded in trust, consistent delivery, and a genuine commitment to their success—driving retention and referenceability
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Client Success Managers, and Support Leads to build sustainable, business-as-usual (BAU) success models for long-term client success
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to surface client insights that inform scalable tooling, reduce client dependence on premium services, and accelerate self-sufficiency
  • Operate as a cross-functional warrior—bridging gaps between teams, breaking down silos, and ensuring the right people are connected to solve problems quickly
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize internal processes, tools, and engagement models as the client base scales
  • Develop repeatable methodologies, pre-configured templates, and process improvements to reduce project complexity and compress timelines
  • Bring a technical inclination toward building tools, scripts, and automations that eliminate manual work and increase throughput—never satisfied with “good enough” when a better system can be built

Skills

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Professional experience in Project Management, Financial Services, Professional Services, or Consulting
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills—you operate with urgency and hold yourself to the highest standard of follow-through
  • Understanding of historical data conversion methodologies and source systems, or related experience in professional services, client implementations, solution consulting, wealthtech, or prior Addepar platform exposure
  • Relentless sense of urgency: You don't wait for permission to act. When something needs to happen, you make it happen—today, not next week
  • Meticulous attention to detail: You catch what others miss. Your work is precise, polished, and ready for scrutiny at every level
  • Cross-functional warrior: You thrive at the intersection of teams. You build relationships, break down barriers, and drive alignment across disciplines
  • Never satisfied, always learning: You ask “what's next?” before the current project is even finished. You seek feedback, absorb new skills, and constantly raise your own bar
  • Technical builder at heart: You have a natural inclination toward tools, automation, and scripting. You see repetitive work as a problem to be engineered away, not accepted
  • Independent and adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take ownership without being told
  • Prior client-facing and financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in investment management software implementations
  • Experience using and implementing AI; specifically, Claude Cowork where you're building skills and artifacts
  • Capability to program or script, particularly in Python
  • Experience with data architecture, ETL processes, or reporting infrastructure
  • Passion for technology and finance that extends beyond the day job
