Summary
AESC US is a global battery technology company developing and manufacturing lithium-ion batteries and sustainable energy solutions. The Project Manager will support utility-scale energy storage and infrastructure projects through project administration, scheduling, documentation, coordination, and reporting. The role will also lead remote commissioning activities and provide technical support for energy storage systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact for project documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Support sales managers and project managers in tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
- Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure timely execution of project tasks
- Maintain accurate project records, including meeting minutes, action items, and progress reports
- Assist with preparation of project proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and client-facing documentation
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, escalating risks or delays to senior management
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, sales, and services)
- Support compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance processes
- Lead remote commissioning activities for energy storage systems, including system configuration, functional testing, and performance validation
- Act as the technical authority during commissioning, guiding and directing the commissioning team to ensure successful project execution
- Perform and oversee technical service work, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for energy storage systems
- Provide advanced technical support for service issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex challenges
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning and service documentation, including test reports and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines during all commissioning and service activities
- Offer technical training and mentorship to commissioning and service team members
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 2–4 years of project coordination, project support, or operations experience; exposure to utility-scale energy, infrastructure, or construction projects preferred
- • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) and Microsoft Office
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly
- • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- • Ability to read, write, speak, hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and lift with hands and arms frequently throughout the day
- • Required to occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 35 pounds

- • Knowledge of energy storage systems, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects
