We're looking for experts to help train better AI.

Job description

Summary

Alignerr is seeking experienced offensive security professionals to shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity threats. The role involves analyzing real-world attack paths and modeling adversarial behavior to help build training data for next-generation AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze attack paths, kill chains, and adversary strategies across realistic production-like environments
  • Identify and classify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps
  • Review red-team style scenarios and intrusion narratives for accuracy and completeness
  • Generate, label, and validate adversarial reasoning data used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Clearly articulate attack chains, impact assessments, and security tradeoffs in structured formats
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in pentesting, red teaming, or a blue-team role with deep attack knowledge
  • Strong understanding of how real attacks unfold in production environments — from initial access to impact
  • Able to think through attacker decision-making, lateral movement, and persistence techniques
  • Clear communicator who can break down complex attack chains into precise, structured explanations
  • Detail-oriented and methodical — you care about getting the analysis right
  • Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, or STRIDE
  • Experience writing threat models, red team reports, or security assessments
  • Background in threat intelligence, incident response, or adversary emulation
  • Exposure to cloud, OT/ICS, or enterprise network security environments
  • Prior experience contributing to AI or data labeling projects
