System Engineer

Summary

Allstar Technologies is currently seeking to hire a System Engineer to become an integral part of their installation team. The role involves designing and installing network cabling, telephone systems, and providing onsite and remote systems support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Help design and install cabling, telephone systems, paging systems, and WiFi deployments
• Document all installation tasks and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues
• Provide sales engineering support to Allstar’s sales team
• Acquire and maintain training, certifications and credentials necessary to install and support the products and services we provide
• Follow documented instructions and guidelines to perform job functions
• Provide excellent service to customers

Skills

• Previous experience or formal training in telecommunications or related fields
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Knowledge of commonly-used telecommunications concepts, practices and procedures
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening
