Job description
Summary
The company is seeking a mid-to-senior Python Developer for its security-focused technology team. The role is responsible for building and scaling Python applications and infrastructure integrated with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and Bedrock AgentCore, while independently driving development requirements from design through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain primarily Python-based applications and infrastructure
- Build new Python code and services, with an emphasis on new development rather than maintenance
- Integrate Python applications with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and Bedrock AgentCore
- Help scale Python infrastructure and applications as usage grows
- Develop and integrate REST APIs
- Build and support AI/agent-based capabilities using Amazon Bedrock
- Contribute to the development of two new mobile AI agents foriOS and Android
- Take development stories/requirements and independently drive solutions from concept through completion
- Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to design and implement solutions
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance as needed
Skills
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience in enterprise environments
- Strong experience building new applications and services with Python
- Experience working with modern Python tooling, including **uv**
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with REST APIs and API integration
- .NET development experience/background
- Ability to take a story or requirement and independently develop a solution in an agile environment
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or similar AI agent technologies
- Mobile application development experience
- Experience developing for iOS and/or Android
- Experience building AI-powered applications or agents
- Experience scaling cloud-based Python infrastructure
