2027 Summer Internship

Summary

ALLWEST is offering a Summer 2027 internship program for students and emerging professionals to gain industry experience and develop professional skills. Interns will learn through laboratory and field testing of construction materials and receive an introduction to private geotechnical engineering consulting for new construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
• Field testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
• Introduction to real-world, private geotechnical engineering consulting for new construction projects, including:
• Transportation and Roadways
• Commercial Structures
• Heavy-Civil and Irrigation
• Energy Production
• Public Utilities
• Medical
• Hospitality

Skills

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant academic program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic research tools
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
• Demonstrated interest in the industry or field of focus
