Job description

Summary

Alpaca is a global financial services company providing brokerage infrastructure and APIs for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, and other financial products. The Sales Analyst will support Account Executives and Sales leadership through customer research, meeting preparation, deal coordination, sales enablement, and commercial analysis. The role will also build repeatable AI-powered and go-to-market workflows to improve sales effectiveness and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives with customer research, meeting preparation, presentations, materials, and follow-up
  • Prepare account briefs and background materials for strategic customer and executive meetings
  • Prepare and coordinate customer proposals, pricing materials, business cases, presentations, and other deal-related documentation
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and deliverables required to move opportunities forward
  • Track key customer follow-ups, action items, and internal commitments and help ensure they are driven through completion
  • Maintain and organize sales collateral, presentations, product materials, FAQs, competitive information, and other internal resources
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to ensure sales materials remain accurate and up to date
  • Assist in the development of sales playbooks, best practices, templates, and other resources used by the broader team
  • Support new-hire onboarding, product education, and ongoing sales training
  • Assist with the preparation of sales meetings, account reviews, leadership discussions, and other team initiatives
  • \Partner with Sales leadership to track key priorities, strategic opportunities, and cross-functional initiatives through completion
  • Identify opportunities to improve how information, materials, and resources are shared across the sales team
  • Support special projects and other initiatives across the Sales organization as needed
  • Act as a force multiplier for Sales by identifying recurring work that can be standardized, automated, delegated, or eliminated
  • Build and maintain repeatable GTM workflows across CRM, AI tools, internal data sources, and document successful workflows so they can be consistently adopted by the broader Sales team

Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales enablement, sales support, business operations, account management, consulting, financial services, or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to take complex or incomplete information and turn it into clear, polished materials
  • Comfortable working directly with Account Executives, Sales leadership, and senior executives
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling customer and commercial information
  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs without requiring significant direction
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving them through completion
  • Experience supporting an enterprise or B2B sales organization
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, brokerage, SaaS, or another technically complex industry
  • Experience creating customer presentations, proposals, account briefs, or sales enablement materials
  • Ability to learn technical products and translate them into clear, commercially relevant information
  • Experience supporting complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Must Haves
