Job description

Summary

Amentum is seeking Junior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. The position will provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence services to deliver timely and actionable threat intelligence on cyber adversaries targeting the U.S. energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners
  • Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.   • Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job

Skills

  • 2–4 years supporting cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or threat analysis
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or Elastic
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and RMF
  • Security+ required (or ability to obtain within six months)
  • Active TS/SCI or DOE Q security clearance required

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • 2–4 years supporting cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or threat analysis
