Summary
Americo Financial Life and Annuity is hosting their annual summer IT internship program. The internship will provide hands-on experience in software development, allowing interns to work on special projects and support the development team.
Responsibilities
- Support the development team in writing and maintaining software
- Contribute to 2026 software development projects and goals
- Develop processes, tools, and templates
- Assist project team members with various support tasks
- Conduct basic research and data collection
- Maintain records, notes, and files related to specific projects
- Assist in the development of presentation materials and reports
- Communicate, plan and execute ideas & projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Studying an IT-related field: Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Management Information System, etc
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful and able to solve problems creatively
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- General understanding of software development techniques
- Legally able to work in the United States
