Summary
Anthem Engineering, LLC is seeking an entry-level to early-career Software Developer to join their software engineering team. The role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining software applications that support mission-critical systems, with opportunities to work on various parts of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain software applications that support mission-critical systems
- Contribute to user interfaces, APIs, backend services, data access layers, automated tests, documentation, or other parts of the software development lifecycle
Skills
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or a similar language
- Familiarity with software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to contribute to front-end, back-end, testing, database, or integration work based on project needs
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Basic understanding of APIs, web applications, or software systems
- Ability to learn new technologies, tools, frameworks, and project domains
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively as part of a team
- Previous internship, academic, personal project, or professional software development experience
- Experience with back-end frameworks, databases, or cloud technologies
- Desire to grow and continue advancing with the company in the long-term
