Summary
ANYbotics is a fast-growing technology company developing mobile robotics for industrial environments. The Field Deployment Technician will install, configure, troubleshoot, and deploy ANYmal robots at customer sites, train operators, expand inspection missions, and provide feedback to improve products and processes.
Responsibilities
- Commission, configure, and troubleshoot ANYmal robots in diverse environments, adapting quickly to varying customer needs and technical requirements
- Conduct robot operator training and safety briefings
- Expand robot missions by adding inspection routes and points of interest
- Collaborate closely with diverse client stakeholders to ensure they successfully meet their predetermined project goals
- Travel frequently, often on short notice, to customer sites worldwide, embracing diverse and sometimes challenging environments to deliver exceptional service
- Collect and communicate valuable insights from customer deployments, helping inform product development and refinement
- Represent ANYbotics at events and exhibitions as needed, showcasing ANYmal’s capabilities and fostering interest in our technology
Skills
- Advanced technical degree, vocational school certification, or equivalent practical experience in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or robotics (Engineering degree welcome)
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable when working in the field
- Fluent in English, effective communicator able to adapt to diverse audiences (technical proficiency, cultural background, etc.)
- Driver's license (Class B)
- Experience with deploying robots or other automation systems
- Experience with Linux and command-line usage
- Familiarity with network infrastructure
