Job description

Summary

Apple is looking for proactive and hardworking software engineers to join the Wallet Engineering team. This role involves developing user-facing features for Wallet, including payment solutions and digital identity management, while collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative solutions for millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • As an engineer on our team, your responsibilities will range from high-level user interfaces to writing background processing and networking code, to developing frameworks used by other teams at Apple and third-party developers. We collaborate closely with the other iOS engineering teams, human interface designers, diverse groups across Apple, and our partners at other companies. You will tackle unique technical challenges at a global scale, working to deliver innovative solutions for millions of users while maintaining the performance and privacy standards that define Apple products

Skills

  • 2-5 years of strong programming skills, preferably with Swift and/or Objective-C
  • 2-5 years of user-interface programming experience
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Passion for product quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle dynamic project priorities
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and memory management across OS software layers
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience developing on iOS, macOS, and/or watchOS
  • Experience incorporating AI tools into the development process

Qualifications
