Job description

Summary

Ardurra is an engineering and consulting firm focused on delivering innovative and sustainable projects for communities. The company is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to lead land development projects, manage client and project team relationships, and oversee grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design. The role also supports permitting, construction administration, team mentoring, and business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple projects (both public and private)
  • Preparation of utility plan and profiles
  • Preparation of grading plans
  • Preparation of roadway plan and profiles
  • Storm drainage calculations
  • Preliminary Plat preparation
  • Other design opportunities related to civil engineering projects
  • Coordinate with project design team members, clients, contractors and permit agency representatives regularly
  • Assist and collaborate with Ardurra construction administration staff during the construction phase of the project

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in, Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in the site design and permitting
  • Washington or Idaho EIT certification or Professional Engineering License (PE)
  • Strong computer skills including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Highly self-motivated self-starter, able to forecast and initiate project tasks
  • This position is available for fully remote individuals as long as they reside in the state of Idaho
