Product Engineer

Summary

Aru Labs is seeking a Product Engineer to build and ship products in a remote-first, high-ownership environment. The role spans product discovery, design, full-stack development, deployment, and continuous iteration, including integrating AI models, payments, and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Take products from **idea to launch**
• Understand user problems and turn them into simple product solutions
• Help define what we should build and why
• Design product flows, interfaces, and user experiences
• Prototype ideas quickly and validate them
• Build frontend and backend systems
• Develop applications using **TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB**
• Build APIs and integrate AI models, payments, and third-party services
• Make technical and product decisions independently
• Work closely with product, design, and other engineers
• Talk to users and use feedback to improve products
• Use product data and user behavior to guide iterations
• Deploy, monitor, debug, and maintain production applications
• Continuously improve products after launch
• Own projects from **problem definition to shipped product**

Skills

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
