Job description
Summary
Aru Labs is seeking a full-stack software engineer to build and ship products. The role involves developing frontend and backend applications, integrating APIs and AI models, deploying production software, and collaborating with product and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack web products from scratch
- Develop frontend experiences with React
- Build backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express
- Work with MongoDB and databases
- Integrate APIs, AI models, and third-party services
- Deploy and maintain production applications
- Work closely with product and design
- Prototype, test, and iterate quickly
Skills
- Strong experience with **MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js**
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills
- Experience building and shipping full-stack products
- Good understanding of APIs, databases, and web architecture
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong product sense and attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys building from zero to one
- Experience with AI/LLM products
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment
- Experience building consumer products
- Open-source contributions or personal projects
Qualifications
