Summary
Assurit is a cybersecurity expertise provider supporting federal, state, local government, and commercial-sector clients. The PMO Analyst supports program and project success through communication, reporting, governance, documentation, performance analysis, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in DoD or federal environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project communication plans to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned
- Prepare and maintain status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings
- Facilitate governance meetings, working groups, and stakeholder workshops
- Maintain and organize project documentation in accordance with organizational standards
- Track and analyze project performance metrics, identifying risks, trends, and issues
- Support project managers and program leadership with reporting, coordination, and communications
- Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information flow
- Assist with process improvement initiatives within the PMO environment
- Experienced using Microsoft tools to implement efficiencies (dashboarding, etc.) and improving business processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–7 years of experience supporting project management, PMO operations, or business transformation initiatives
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and executive-level communications
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple teams
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and/or project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
- Experience supporting DoD or federal government programs
- Familiarity with PMO governance processes and frameworks
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms
- PMP, CAPM, or related certification (or working toward certification
