  • Collaborate closely with system engineers and software developers to validate new software releases and features
  • Support test planning, execution, documentation, and reporting for communication system and RAN validation activities

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a related technical discipline

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in communication systems testing, RAN validation, and RF troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong RF fundamentals with demonstrated hands-on debugging capability
  • Working knowledge of 3GPP protocols and procedures, including RRC, RLC, MAC, and PHY layers
  • Experience using Python and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as XCAL, UE Simulators, Viavi, and QXDM
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex RF and communication system challenges
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate testing, validation, and documentation

Technology Stack:

  • RF Test & Debug Equipment: Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
  • Log Analysis & Diagnostics: QXDM
  • Automation & Data Analysis: Python, MATLAB
  • Industry Tools: XCAL, UE Simulators, Viavi

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in laboratory environments and perform hands-on RF testing for extended periods
