Jr. Full-Stack Software Engineer

They are seeking a Jr. Full-Stack Software Engineer to assist in designing, building, and scaling production systems for their AI conversation and workflow platform, while collaborating with teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, build, and scale production systems across the stack (frontend and backend) in order to power our AI conversation and workflow platform
• Assist with architecture for microservices and event-driven systems while setting patterns for reliability, performance, and observability
• Ship high-quality, secure features from spec to production, including API design, data modeling, code reviews, CI/CD, and instrumentation
• Collaborate with AI and Product teams to turn business problems into robust software that integrates prompts, automations, and guardrails
• Improve developer experience through testing strategies, build pipelines, documentation, and operational runbooks
• Partner with Customer Success during go-lives to ensure smooth deployments and capture learnings

Skills

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems at scale
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar) plus HTML/CSS and responsive design
• An understanding of Go or Python (Go preferred) with a strong understanding of API design, concurrency, and performance tuning
• Some experience with PostgreSQL including indexing, query optimization, and migrations with a pragmatic approach to data modeling
• Strong communicator who can explain tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to deliver outcomes in a startup environment

Qualifications

Must Haves
