Summary
BAE Systems is seeking a Modeling and Simulations (M&S) Software Developer to support our government customer in a mission critical role related to modeling and simulations. The M&S Software Developer develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based upon documented requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
- Collaborate with Systems, CM, and other Software Engineers across the full software lifecycle
- Solve tough engineering challenges – debugging, fixing, and integrating software across multiple baselines
Skills
- Must be a US citizen and possess a Secret level clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Modeling and simulations experience
- Software development in high level language (C++)
- Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
- Software testing, validation, and verification activities
- Collaborate with Systems, CM, and other Software Engineers across the full software lifecycle
- Solve tough engineering challenges – debugging, fixing, and integrating software across multiple baselines
- Physics-based modeling and simulations
- Agile Development experience
- Designing and/or implementing software algorithms
