Job description
Summary
Bell Flight is a company specializing in manufacturing, and they are seeking a Grinder Production Intern to assist with various grinding tasks. The intern will set up and operate different types of grinders for production and experimental work while adhering to precise tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work
- Must be able and is required to perform any type of difficult grinding work on any and all types of grinders
- Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours, and threads
- Must be able to set up truing devices on thread grinding for various types and forms of threads
- Selects proper speeds, feeds, and wheels
- Holds work for required tolerances
- Setups are exacting, usually requiring firm and accurately set fixtures, rests or blocks

- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information
