Job description

Summary

Bombardier designs, builds, and maintains aircraft for business, government, and military customers. The Analyst, Supplier Quality performs supplier inspections, manages containment and non-conformance documentation, identifies quality risks, supports operational decision-making, and coordinates quality assurance training and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform source inspections at supplier sites to validate product conformity
  • Implement and validate containment actions to protect production flow
  • Ensure proper traceability and documentation of non-conformances
  • Identify potential risks early and escalate quality concerns proactively
  • Support rapid decision-making to minimize operational disruptions
  • Training and coordination of QA related materials, i.e., SQM, Auditing, PMA
  • Perform other QA related activities (i.e., project related activity, Monthly Reports, reporting needs as required

Skills

  • 1. Typically 3+ years of experience in a technical field (technology, documentation, technical writing, website development, Office, etc)
  • 2. Proficient in data compilation and program tracking
  • 3. Proficient in reporting with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • 4. Proficient in organization and delivery of training and presentation methods / and related skills
  • 5. Proficient in policy / procedure writing methods, including maintenance of any project
  • 6. Proficient in Benchmarking and documentation mapping
  • 7. Proficient in regulatory Quality Systems (TCCA, FAA, etc.) and Quality Assurance interpretation methodology and techniques
  • 8. Six Sigma Belt Preferred
