Internship Description

Locations: Richmond, VA, Jupiter, FL, & Charleston, SC

Boxwood is seeking Interns to join our rapidly growing M&A practice in Jupiter, FL and Richmond, VA. The Internship Program at Boxwood offers an opportunity to work alongside live deal professionals in the Analyst, Associate, VP, and Managing Director roles. The Internship Program spans 10-12 weeks, from May to August and allows candidates to have hands on experience with Boxwood’s analysis and due diligence process. Interns play a critical role in the preparation of new client pitches and client presentations, identifying potential acquirers and private equity firms, conducting industry and company-specific research, and supporting due diligence. Qualifications

  • Successful Interns are self-motivated, have a willingness to learn, detail oriented, and can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Studying finance and/or accounting and show past success within their academics

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
