Description of Position – The Web Developer will support the company's Construction Technology and Information Technology to help scale and maintain internal applications.

Organizational Relationships – The Web Developer reports to the Construction Technology Manager and often works independently with guidance and direction from the technology team. Normal inside contacts may include all employees of CF Evans all employees of CF Evans’ field, project management, safety, preconstruction/estimating teams, accounting, construction administration, human resources, and technology.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the technology team with a focus on scaling and maintaining internal applications; Perform work on a dynamic web application
• Ensure appropriate tests are put into place in order to review custom tools within integrated company systems; Develop, document, test, and maintain internal applications in an enterprise environment
• Assist in maintaining and developing point solutions with use of strong problem solving and analytical skills; Read and write documentation
• Demonstrate appreciation and basic understanding of workflow-specific initiatives and process improvement goals of the company
• Demonstrate an active interest in gaining experience with a full stack JavaScript application (React & Express); Demonstrate a working knowledge of HTML, CSSS, and frameworks such as Bootstrap

Requirements of the Position

• Education & Certification – Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technology field, or certification(s) in web design/development and/or coding
• Recommended Work Experience – 2-3 years of foundational experience in JavaScript and other programming languages such as Ruby, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic (VBA), DAX, M, SQL and PHP; Experience unit testing code a plus
• Physical Demands - Prolonged sitting, keying, reaching, grasping, reading, speaking, and listening
• Working Conditions – Occasional required meetings at CF Evans corporate office, or other shared work spaces with 50-75% remote work capability
