Job description

Internship Description:

Our Club Management Rotational Internship provides a hands-on experience, through multiple departments to provide a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the private club industry. Our program is customized to meet the needs and interests of the individual to best prepare them for a career in clubs.

Internship Functions:

Interns should expect to experience all aspects of Club operations, front line roles through team leadership and operations as indicated through their personal goals. Programming includes:

Department rotations in food and beverage, culinary, golf, tennis, agronomy, communications, and more

  • Weekly Meetings

  • CMAA Education Sessions

  • Area Club Tours & Networking

  • Leadership Development and Education

  • Access to Leadership

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Internship Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Detail oriented, honest, respectful, dedicated, caring, positive, and enthusiastic

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end, professional environment

  • Desire to make memorable member experiences

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform physical demands of the job including lifting up to 35 lbs is required

  • Ability to climb stairs frequently, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work and tolerate all seasonal weather conditions

Vision Requirements

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

  • Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet of more)

Education/Experience:

  • Enrolled in a 4-year Hospitality Program
