Job description
Summary
Cirrus Logic is a leading company in mixed-signal processing known for its innovative solutions and award-winning culture. They are seeking a highly motivated AI / Business Analytics Intern to support an exploratory AI initiative aimed at improving Technology and Manufacturing workflows by translating business needs into practical AI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype an AI-assisted operational workflow
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand real business workflows and identify areas for improvement
- Translate ambiguous business problems into testable AI use cases
- Build a proof-of-concept or early-stage prototype focused on data extraction, workflow automation, and lightweight data structuring and insights
- Document solution designs, assumptions, and findings throughout the project
- Present results and recommendations at the end of the internship
- Use Cirrus-approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Glean, and approved GPT-based tools in accordance with company policies
Skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with Python or a similar programming language
- Basic understanding of automation workflows and data processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through open-ended problems
- Strong teamwork, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or large language models
- Experience with SAP, Spotfire, or AI-assisted coding tools
Qualifications
