Job description

Summary

City of New York's Department of Finance is responsible for administering the city's tax revenue laws. They are seeking a Data Analytics Grad Intern to assist with various projects related to property tax research and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building a dashboard based on deed fraud weekly and monthly report
  • Assist with policy evaluation projects were appropriate
  • Assist visualization of real property transfer tax and mortgage recording tax reports
  • Assist with ad hoc research projects relating to property and owners, potentially involving collaboration with other teams in the Division
  • Present research findings to the Senior Director on a regular basis and attend a variety of weekly meetings with management

Skills

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in an accredited college, university or law school
