Job description
Summary
ClifyX is a technology company specializing in data solutions, and they are seeking a Data Platform Development Engineer. The role involves implementing and managing data solutions within the Snowflake ecosystem, building data pipelines, and applying data analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
- Mandatory Snowflake Expertise: Proven experience implementing and managing data solutions within the Snowflake ecosystem
- Data Pipelines: Experience building data pipelines
- Data Analysis: Strong understanding of data analysis techniques for validation requirements
- Advanced SQL: Complex querying, data manipulation, and performance tuning across Snowflake and SQL Server environments
- Data Engineering Fundamentals: Solid understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data pipeline orchestration
- Snowflake Features: Familiarity with Copy, Stored Procedures, and Views
- Python: Basic proficiency for data processing, scripting, and automation
- DevOps: Experience deploying applications using Bit/Git version control, CGW server, Kafka, MySQL, AWS, and cloud hosting platforms
- Soft Skills: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn emerging technologies
- Good to Have: Experience with Snowflake Cortex workloads is a significant advantage
