Summary
CloudHesive is an Amazon Premier Partner and Amazon Managed Services Partner focused on cloud technology solutions. They are seeking a Network Engineer who will support and maintain customer network infrastructure, diagnose and resolve network issues, and collaborate with senior engineers in a fast-paced managed services environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking equipment including Cisco switches and access points, and Fortinet firewalls, applying technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues
- Provide on-site hands-on support at customer locations in the Denver metro area, including rack and stack, hardware replacement, cable management, and in-person incident response
- Perform network monitoring, alerting, and incident response across multiple customer environments, applying independent judgment to triage and resolve issues
- Execute AWS networking tasks including VPC configuration, security groups, and VPN connectivity
- Analyze network configurations and recommend improvements based on observed performance, customer requirements, and best practices
- Document network configurations, changes, and standard procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents, applying troubleshooting methodology to restore service
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical matters and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence
Skills
- 1–3 years in networking or IT support roles
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet equipment
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and AWS (or other cloud platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service communication skills
- Remote, but must be based in the Denver metro area for occasional on-site customer visits
