Coffman Engineers is a leading firm in the engineering and construction communities, seeking a dynamic and innovative Civil Engineering Intern for their Raleigh office. This internship offers the opportunity to learn about civil engineering design fundamentals in various applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn more about your chosen field
• Focus on the fundamentals of civil engineering design as applied to commercial, residential, industrial, and manufacturing facility site design
• Grading design
• Drainage and stormwater management
• Utility infrastructure design
• Erosion control design in a multidisciplinary setting

Skills

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college
• Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of AutoCAD
• Ability to work up to 40 hours during the school break. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided
• This role is based in Raleigh, NC and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office
