Are you ready to go beyond?Pratt &amp; Whitney’s (P&amp;W) Digital Technology team has an exciting remote opportunity for a Bill Of Material (BOM) DT Functional/Technical Analyst to lead technology projects within the Digital Technology Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team.What You Will Do:&nbsp;This role will work with business leaders in the Integrated Business Planning and Materials Management organizations. The individual will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing and implementation of DT projects that support our Bill Of Material configuration processes, engineering change interfaces, and web services.&nbsp;In this position, the individual will use his/her technical background to develop solutions to complex business issues and propose IT recommendations for strategic changes to our landscape that will improve the reliability and accuracy of existing applications.&nbsp;This position will require a high degree of collaboration across different teams to develop and execute Digital Technology solutions. The position requires the ability to lead end-to-end implementations of SAP Product Lifecycle Management.&nbsp;This position also allows for the person to have the opportunity to define configuration and customization requirements based on engineering business requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;- Play a direct role in functional and technical design, debugging, maintenance, technical support, testing , documentations and administrations of SAP Bill Of Materials and Material Master solutions related to Engineering Changes.&nbsp;- Monitor and coordinate engineering changes in SAP, implementing revisions to BOMs, routings, and material attributes.&nbsp;- Develop and monitor Tidal or RunMyJobs batch jobs.&nbsp;- Develop and provide input to influence strategic business roadmaps for Bill Of Materials and Engineering Changes.&nbsp;- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.&nbsp;- Provide technical and functional expertise to ensure solutions meet business objectives that are reliable and scalable.&nbsp;- Drive successful implementation of projects to achieve proposed benefits by utilizing organizational change-management skills.&nbsp;- Lead continuous improvement activities to improve application performance, quality, and reliability.&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualifications You Must Have:&nbsp;- &nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field and 10+ years of hands on applicable work experience; OR an Advanced degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 7+ years of hands on applicable work experience.&nbsp;- Technical experience and a working knowledge of SAP Production Planning module, specifically with Bills of Material and Engineering Change Masters.&nbsp;- Knowledge of SAP material master effects on bills of material and their effects on MRP and finance.&nbsp;- Knowledge of Tidal job or RunMyJobs scheduling and monitoring.&nbsp;- Understanding of product structure, manufacturing processes, and assembly work scheduling strategies.&nbsp;- Understanding of Bill of Material explosions that are required at each level of production.&nbsp;- Familiarity with different types of Bill of Materials such as ABOM, MBOM, and EBOM.&nbsp;- Familiar with ABAP programming language and debugging to troubleshoot problems and gauge level of effort on new requests.&nbsp;- Experience with industry standard ERP system implementations (waterfall and agile methodologies).&nbsp;- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical customers and team members.&nbsp;- Able to conduct presentations to large organizations, as well as to executive and upper management.&nbsp;- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization.&nbsp;- Skilled at multitasking, able to address various demand streams simultaneously.&nbsp;- Willingness to learn new technologies &amp; take on new projects to grow experience.&nbsp;- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business environments.&nbsp;- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.&nbsp;- U.S. Citizenship is required (required due to Government contractual requirements)&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualifications We Prefer:&nbsp;- Experience/knowledge in Unix/Linux and tidal job scheduling.&nbsp;- Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP IBP -&nbsp; Integrated Business Planning solution.&nbsp;- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.&nbsp;- Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable.&nbsp; Learn More &amp; Apply Now:What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
