Job description
Summary
Collins Engineers, Inc. is offering an opportunity for a civil engineering student to gain experience doing structural inspections. This position will be a combination of office and fieldwork, providing hands-on experience in bridge inspections, design, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience doing structural inspections
- Collaborating on bridge inspections -- above- and underwater
- Bridge design and load rating
- Working on other various tasks with seasoned engineers
- Creating reports using data collected from field sites
Skills
- Junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
- A valid driver's license
- Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D is a plus
- Previous software experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software is a plus
Qualifications
Must Haves

Nice to Haves
- Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D is a plus
