Job description

Summary

CommonSpirit Health is a nonprofit Catholic healthcare organization providing integrated health services, including virtual care offerings. The IT Cybersecurity Engineer will provide strategic oversight for cybersecurity programs aligned with virtual health initiatives, develop business intelligence and data visualization reporting, and design, implement, and optimize security solutions and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, configures, and implements solutions to resolve basic to intermediate technical and business issues related to information security
  • Reviews and consults on security of technology solutions to resolve basic to intermediate technical and business issues
  • Assists in design, development, and implementation to integrate new solutions within the existing architecture
  • Provides support and works on multiple functions of basic to intermediate complexity
  • Design and implement security solutions and architectures to protect systems and applications
  • Operate and optimize security tools and platforms (e.g., vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment) including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting
