Platform Engineer: Platform Enablement

The Platform Engineer role focuses on automating and optimizing cloud infrastructure while collaborating with software engineers and platform teams to ensure scalable and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Advise software engineers on best practices and strategies for managing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with application development workflows
• Design and implement new solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and observability across our AWS infrastructure
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems, finding smarter, more efficient ways to deliver infrastructure solutions
• Set up, maintain, and scale cross-account AWS environments, ensuring security and compliance are always top priorities
• Improve continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows to streamline development and deployment cycles
• Automate critical infrastructure updates and other routine processes to reduce manual intervention and increase operational efficiency

Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure
• Deep experience in AWS infrastructure management and automation tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
• Proficiency in monitoring systems such as Prometheus, ElasticSearch, VictoriaMetrics, or similar tools, with a focus on ensuring high availability and performance
• Advise software engineers on best practices and strategies for managing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with application development workflows
• Design and implement new solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and observability across our AWS infrastructure

Qualifications
