Summary
Cook Medical is seeking a Product Manager 1 - AI to join its AI & Innovation team. The role owns the AI platform ecosystem product experience, including marketplace curation, roadmap development, AI Ambassador program management, adoption enablement, and coordination with IT and Foundry teams to connect AI capabilities to business value.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI platform ecosystem product experience. Own the product experience across Claude Enterprise and adjacent AI tools, define what belongs in the marketplace, set quality standards for skills and plugins, evaluate new platform capabilities, and translate them into actionable recommendations for AI&I's roadmap
- Curate and govern the internal AI marketplace. Curate and govern the marketplace of skills, plugins, and applications published for enterprise use, and define quality standards, versioning practices, and publishing workflows for marketplace content
- Maintain the connected ecosystem roadmap. Maintain the roadmap across Claude Enterprise, Foundry, CookGPT, and future tools, and evaluate new platform features as they release to assess fit with Cook's AI strategy and recommend adoption or deferral
- Own the AI Ambassador program lifecycle. Own the full lifecycle of the AI Ambassador program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, ongoing enablement, and performance measurement
- Manage regional ambassador cohorts. Ensure each region has active, equipped ambassadors who drive local adoption, and serve as the hub connecting the ambassador network in partnership with leaders, functions, and Human Resources
- Develop ambassador enablement content. Develop and distribute enablement content, including best practices, prompt engineering guides, use case libraries, and capability updates while partnering with Human Resources to enable learning, establish feedback loops, and support adoption across the ecosystem
- Build community across the ambassador network. Hold regular check-ins, maintain shared channels, and support knowledge exchange; track program metrics such as adoption lift, engagement, and feedback quality
- Monitor the AI platform landscape. Track releases, roadmaps, and strategic direction from Anthropic, Palantir, and the broader AI platform landscape
- Brief AI&I leadership on platform developments. Produce regular briefings that translate platform developments into implications for Cook's AI strategy and feed them into AI&I's roadmap
- Coordinate integration architecture with Foundry. Work with the Foundry team and Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure Claude's MCP protocol layer connects cleanly to the ontology, so that what users access through AI tools connects to the enterprise data and intelligence layer
- Identify new use cases unlocked by platform capabilities. Recognize opportunities where new platform capabilities make previously out-of-reach use cases possible
- Monitor adoption analytics. Review usage patterns from a product lens, not for security or compliance, to understand which teams are adopting, which capabilities are gaining traction, where the gaps are, and where the Ambassador program should focus next
- Operate within the shared governance model with IT. Recognize that AI&I owns product strategy, ecosystem, and adoption while IT owns infrastructure, licensing, security, and provisioning, and coordinate with IT on access management, compliance requirements, and security policies as they relate to platform capabilities
- Communicate platform updates to stakeholders. Share platform updates, capability changes, and strategic direction with stakeholders across the organization, and support AI&I leadership in articulating ecosystem strategy to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
