Summary
Coretelligent is a leading IT services provider founded in 2006, headquartered in Needham, MA. They are seeking a Remote Engineer to provide customer support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform desktop/laptop configurations while ensuring exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer trouble tickets or emails
- Provide remote diagnostics and take corrective action as defined by Coretelligent’s SLA
- Troubleshoot diverse range of hardware and software
- Perform repairs to hardware to resolve defects
- Collaborate with fellow team members to solve challenging issues
- Build/Rebuild and configure new Laptops and Desktops for various clients per the client specific build process
- Extensive user desktop support experience with Windows XP through Windows 7
- Troubleshoot local PC connectivity issues, application issues, hardware issues, etc
- Support Windows Active Directory networks 2003/2008 with DHCP, DNS, OUs, and Group Policies in small to medium businesses consisting of one or more sites
- Troubleshoot various connectivity issues from the PC to a server or the internet
- Ability to troubleshoot tcp/ip and network printers and relevant network queues
- Troubleshoot first-level network (LAN/WLAN) connectivity issues (DHCP, DNS, WINS)
Skills
- 1-2 Years' experience in a customer oriented support environment

- Knowledge of MS Office/Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, 2011 for Mac (Expertise)

- Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Sync (Expertise)
- Knowledge of Network Printing & Multi-Function Devices (Expertise)
- Knowledge of Corporate antivirus/antimalware (Sophos, Symantec, AVG)
- Knowledge of Disk imaging and recovery products (Ghost, Acronis, Ontrack, etc.)
- Knowledge of Mobile Devices (Android, Apple, Blackberry)
- Knowledge of Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Servers and their peripherals)
- Knowledge of VPN Clients (Cisco, Sonicwall)
- MacOS experience a strong plus
- Basic Knowledge of MS Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2
- Basic Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Batch Scripting, Local & Roaming User Profiles
- Basic Knowledge of Citrix & Terminal Services
