Job description

Summary

Cresta is an AI company providing conversational AI agents, real-time human agent augmentation, and conversation intelligence for customer experiences. The Accountant will support and scale the accounting function by managing close activities, vendor bills, accounts receivable, collections, expenses, payroll, and cross-functional operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Execute period-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and other relevant working papers
  • Manage vendor bills to ensure they are accounted, reviewed and paid for in accordance with relevant policies
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and collections effort, partnering with our Sales team
  • Manage and review expense reports for our employees
  • Assist payroll processing for the company and overseas subsidiaries
  • Support cross-functional teams to optimize operating activities and facilitate strong information flow

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
  • 1 year or less of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to be an effective individual contributor by planning, executing and delivering projects in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
  • 1 year or less of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
