Job description
Summary
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This role focuses on developing and enhancing data solutions to improve financial reporting and business performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data solutions that support financial reporting, operational performance measurement, and business analysis
- Oversee data integration and management processes to ensure accurate, reliable, and accessible reporting across multiple data sources
- Deliver dashboards, trend analyses, forecasting insights, and recurring performance reports that support decision making and business planning activities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define measurement strategies, and translate business objectives into scalable reporting solutions
- Streamline manual processes through automation, data pipeline improvements, and ongoing enhancements while monitoring project progress and deliverables
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with at least three years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related field
- Strong SQL expertise including query development, troubleshooting, data extraction, validation, analysis, and data modeling
- Experience building and supporting data pipelines, ETL processes, automation workflows, and Python based solutions for data management and reporting
- Proven experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, including integrating and reconciling data from financial or accounting systems
- Strong communication and requirements gathering skills with the ability to transform business needs into technical solutions
- Exposure to revenue operations
- Airflow

Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with at least three years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related field
