Dark Wolf is looking for a Google Cloud Engineer. Dark Wolf’s Google Cloud Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services and technologies, as well as experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage GCP solutions for customers
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
  • Configure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud SQL
  • Implement security best practices for GCP solutions
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts in support of Authority to Operate (ATO) engagements
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP services and technologies
  • Work collaboratively within a fast paced Agile team environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing
  • 2+ years of experience with GCP
  • Foundational development experience and understanding with tools and technologies such as Git, Linux command line, shell scripting, etc.
  • Strong understanding of GCP services and technologies
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • US Citizenship and security clearance eligibility 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one Google Cloud Professional Certification
  • Experience working within Agile teams
  • Experience working with Google Cloud compliance products such as Security Command Center and Assured Workloads
  • Experience working with customers in the U.S. Public Sector
  • U.S. Federal Government security clearance
  • Experience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies

This position will be a remote/hybrid role based out of multiple hubs including: Herndon, VA, Tampa, FL, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, Ogden, UT, and Omaha, NE.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
