David Joseph & Company is a well-established engineering firm offering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. They are seeking an Engineer Intern (EI) to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in civil site analysis and design
- Prepare conceptual and final designs, construction plans, and specifications
- Perform engineering calculations to support design development
- Assemble permit documents, reports, and applications
- Provide engineering support during construction phases
- Collaborate with internal and external project teams
- Maintain project records and ensure quality control
Skills
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Engineer Intern (EI) license
- 0–4 years in civil engineering or related field
- AutoCAD, MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads (a plus)
- Excel proficiency
- ICPR, WaterCAD, AutoTurn (a plus)
- Site geometry, grading, stormwater design, utility layout
- Construction document preparation
- Local agency code analysis and permitting
- Report writing and project documentation
Qualifications
Must Haves
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Engineer Intern (EI) license
- 0–4 years in civil engineering or related field
- AutoCAD, MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads (a plus)
