Job description
Summary
Dice is seeking an AI Native Engineer who is a hands-on builder implementing features and integrations using Claude Code. This role involves working within an architecture defined by senior engineers and addressing architecture-level problems.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains harness components (retrieval, tool invocation, evaluation, observability) under review, and contributes improvements back to the shared base harness
- Works through architecture- and systems-level problems under senior review as the path to progression
Skills
- Tech: Claude Code, React / TypeScript / JavaScript / Node.js front end, Python and backend data engineering, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, Bedrock), Terraform, Playwright, Azure DevOps
- Professional English fluency, written and verbal
- AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling)
- Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am-6pm PST)
- Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles
