Summary
TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology company developing connectivity and sensor solutions for transportation, renewable energy, automated factories, data centers, and medical technology. The Applied AI Data Engineering Intern will develop a real Channel business use case into a working AI pilot using Databricks or other AI tools, SQL, and Python, then test, demonstrate, and hand off the solution.
Responsibilities
- Take one prioritized Channel use case from problem statement to working pilot over the course of your internship
- Build the pilot in Databricks or another TE AI tool, such as Copilot Studio, ChatGPT or Claude
- Get the data your pilot needs, using SQL and Python to pull it and clean it up
- Test the pilot with the people who would use it, measure whether it saves time or improves accuracy, and improve it based on their feedback
- Hand off a working pilot at the end of the summer with a live demo, a short how-to, and your recommendation on whether TE should scale it
