Data Analyst {Entry Level / Career Transition}

Summary

Dice is recruiting professionals for entry-level and career-transition opportunities in data analytics. The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, validate, and interpret business data while preparing reports and dashboards, writing SQL queries, investigating data quality issues, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data
• Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and data summaries
• Write SQL queries to extract and validate data
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation
• Identify trends, patterns, and data quality issues
• Work with business and technical teams to understand reporting needs
• Support dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Track business and operational metrics
• Assist with data mapping and documentation
• Investigate data discrepancies and support issue resolution
• Prepare reports and communicate analytical findings to stakeholders
• Maintain documentation related to data sources, reports, and processes
• Support continuous improvement of reporting and analytics processes
