Education Research, Frontend Developer-SLATE

Summary

Huron collaborates with education organizations to develop strategies and implement solutions that drive innovation, sustainable funding, and improved student outcomes. The Frontend Developer will support client-facing projects through web development and design, creating high-fidelity prototypes, user experiences, and frontend solutions using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Slate CRM, and frontend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• The Associates play an integral client-facing project work. While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Associate can expect to spend their time with a heavy focus on material client interaction through all projects, project management, intensive data-analysis and the identification for the "so-what's" therein, and to creating compelling client-ready presentations

Skills

• * 2+ years of work experience in a professional, client-facing graphic/web designer or web developer role
• * Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop primarily
• * Demonstrated ability in designing high-fidelity prototypes in Sketch, Figma or other prototyping software, demonstrating user flows and interactive elements of the user experience and interface
• * Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• * Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic arts/design, visual communication, user interface/ user experience design, web development or other related field preferred
• * Coding within Slate CRM or related CRM technologies
• * Expertise in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
• * Proficient understanding of the Bootstrap Framework or other frontend frameworks
• * Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• * Proficient understanding of WCAG/Accessibility standards and ability to develop to them
• * Familiarity with WordPress CMS
