Embedded Software Developer - Product Enablement

Summary

Lynx delivers modular, open standards-based software for high-assurance, mission-critical edge systems across aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, and industrial environments. The Embedded Software Developer will develop and improve embedded graphics and compute drivers, customize products for embedded hardware and real-time operating systems, optimize applications, write technical specifications, and help deliver reliable safety-critical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Improve embedded graphics and compute drivers
• Customizing our products for new embedded hardware and real-time operating systems
• Profiling and optimizing drivers and applications
• Writing and reviewing technical specifications
• Work as a team to produce reliable, high quality, safety critical solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software development (C/C++)
• Experience with embedded operating systems (Lynx, VxWorks, Linux, Deos, etc.)
• Experience developing, debugging and troubleshooting embedded Vulkan, OpenGL or OpenCL drivers
• Experience with ARINC 653
• Strong organization and technical skills
• Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ingrained sense of accountability and ownership
• Continuous drive for learning, pushing technical limits and finding new solutions
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with DO-178 or ISO26262 software development is an asset
