Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Translate business requirements into detailed design specifications and code
• Conduct unit testing and support production issue troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs
• Lead initiatives to improve development frameworks, standards, and operational efficiency
• Review code and provide technical guidance to team members as needed

Skills

• 3-6 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React
• Proficient in Java development and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating APIs within React applications
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Jest, or React Testing Library
• Candidates must reside in NY to be considered
• Experience with automation to streamline technological processes
• Exposure to mentoring or building communities of practice
