Summary
Motional is a driverless technology company making autonomous vehicles a safe, reliable, and accessible reality. They are seeking a Perception Engineer to connect project-level impact through technology solutions and to design and implement AI models.
Responsibilities
- Connect/drive project-level impact through technology solutions
- Design, develop, implement, and fix features in codebase
- Formulate problems, architect solutions, and design processes
- Train and deploy new AI models
- Analyze model performance and identify improvements
- Research/evaluate emerging technologies to enhance AI models
- Prototype, evaluate, implement, and iterate on solutions
Skills
- Requires Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related technical field
- Two years of industry experience in automotive industry software development
- Experience must include: production-level software development
- Experience must include: model deployment
- Experience must include: integration and validation for robotics
- Experience must include: testing/debugging algorithms
- Experience must include: machine learning applications
- Experience must include: Python
- Experience must include: C++
- Experience must include: PyTorch
