Summary
Dice is recruiting for a Software Engineer II role supporting an internal requirements management platform for XR hardware and software programs. The role focuses on redesigning user flows, improving data-dense interfaces, translating user feedback into design fixes, and partnering with engineers through development and QA.
Responsibilities
- Redesign individual screens and user flows for functions such as document creation, requirement editing, and dependency linking
- Improve dense table and graph views by refining information hierarchy, filtering capabilities, and bulk actions
- Address empty and error states to enhance user experience
- Independently scope problem statements and propose design approaches
- Translate user-reported friction, including bugs and feedback, into concrete design fixes
- Produce development-ready specifications and partner with engineers through the build and QA process
- Sequence personal work against project milestones and maintain status visibility for a distributed team
Skills
- 4+ years of UX/product design experience with a portfolio of shipped work
- Proven experience designing data-dense enterprise or internal tooling, including tables, graphs, hierarchies, and admin surfaces
- Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, and design-system contribution
- A track record of self-directed work with multiple concurrent deliverables and light supervision
- Ability to interview technical users and translate domain complexity into clear interfaces
- Excellent written communication skills in an asynchronous environment
Qualifications
